And first... There was light (content)

In another life I was many things. Now, in this life, I am starting over, and I don't like it one bit. But, from change we are supposed to grow, and I suppose that it will be good for me one day to look back and see that it was all necessary.

Don't forget, in the life before your other life you were another thing entirely. In other words, you have continued to evolve and grow through all your lives.

As far as I know, you have been through at least four, perhaps five key phases. Whether you like this particular life or not, today you are the best you have ever been.
Right now.
Be everything you can be.

It would seem that the light has gone out... *cough*

I don't believe you are a man of regrets. But reading your post again gives me the impression that you feel as if you have lost many things on your journey. Is that how you feel?

The way I see it, all the things you once were, you still are. They are within you and continue to define you.

By the way, I get the distinct feeling I am talking to myself here...

Sorry Alex! No, you aren't alone here - I just had to organize my thoughts (I had no idea where to take this blog, or what to do with it, but now I think I know). Thank you for your support! Anyhow, to answer your question, yes, I do think that I have lost some things, but nothing vital (the important stuff is still there!). My only real regret is that I wish that I could see the people from my past again. On a totally different note: what do you think of the latest post? A masterpiece of confusion, or what? Cheers! Mike
